How to start

Sign up as a prospective supplier

Fill out LLNL’s prospective supplier form

  • This is the best way to be notified of upcoming events and be notified if we have an upcoming procurement need that matches the goods or services your business provides.

  • Procurement and other lab staff can use the prospective supplier database to find suppliers for specific procurement needs.

  • Submitting your business information does not guarantee business opportunities with LLNS. Inclusion in the prospective supplier database does not imply preference, qualification, or endorsement.

  • You’re encouraged to register in SAM.gov and register for a DUNS number in Dun & Bradstreet as it will make it easier for LLNL to do business with your business, but it is not required. Registration on either site does not guarantee business with LLNS or any federal agency.

For Construction Projects:

  • Review our prequalification requirements to ensure that you qualify, and then email smallbusiness [at] llnl.gov (smallbusiness[at]llnl[dot]gov) and asked to be prequalified as a LLNL subcontractor.

Other procurement opportunities within the DOE

  • If interested in other opportunities within the DOE, please go to the DOE’s Acquisition Forecast website to find the DOE’s acquisition forecast and learn how to do business with the DOE’s other national laboratories.

What qualifies as small business:

  • A business is considered a small business if they certify that they fall below the small business size standard for a given NAICS code

  • Example: a business is performing work under a NAICS code with a size standard of 300 employees. If the business has less than 300 employees, it is considered a small business for that NAICS code.
